Information and Consultation Services for Part-Time Work

The JIWE provides employers and personnel managers with information and consultation, etc. on improving the employment management of part-time workers. It also provides individualized consultations for those who desire part-time work.

Seminars on Employment Management for Part-Time Workers

The JIWE conducts “Part-Time Employment Management Improvement Seminars” for employers, part-time worker managers and personnel managers, etc. to teach them how to improve employment management for part-time workers.

Promotion Programs for Balanced Treatment of Part-time Workers

The JIWE sends consultants on balanced treatment practices to businesses that desire to provide balanced treatment for part-time workers, and also provides specific advice and recommendations to them. In addition, it holds conferences for employers in individual industrial sectors to discuss successful case studies from industry groups and local business groups and to provide an opportunity to exchange opinions.
The JIWE also conducts a "self-diagnosis" program in which it asks employers to fill out a diagnostic sheet on their employment management for part-time workers including their endeavors at seeking for balanced treatment for part-time and full-time workers.

Subsidy Programs

Model Employer Subsidies

These subsidies are provided to employers to help defray the costs they incur in improving their employment management by, for example, introducing regular health checkups and career enhancement programs for part-time workers.

Subsidies for Employer Organizations

These subsidies are provided to employer organizations that conduct activities designed to improve employment management for part-time workers employed by their members.
