The Japan Institute of Workers' EvolutionThe Japan Institute of Workers' Evolution was established at the time of the Equal Employment Opportunity Law's entry into force in April 1986, bringing together the experience of the corporate sector and the knowledge of experts to form a nucleus for voluntary corporate efforts aligned with national policies. With the aim of establishing good corporate employment relations, the Institute conducts a variety of programs including seminars, consultations, research, information services, and provision of subsidies and grants. These programs are designed to create a workplace environment in which women workers can fully realize their abilities, to support the harmonization of work and domestic life for workers who are taking care of a child or other family member, and to improve the employment management of part-time workers. |
